Course Name : NX Hybrid Modeling

Course Duration : 4 days

Course Objective : NX Hybrid Modeling as the initial class, is designed to launch students on the path of productivity. This course is designed to meet the student's expectation to transfer classroom instruction to productivity on the job.The NX Hybrid Modeling course ignites the student through professional instruction pertaining to 3D product model design at the completion of UG Hybrid Modeling the student will productively develop solid models.The class introduces solid modeling in the context of a real-life scenario that includes parts modeled by the student as well as part models that have already been created. This reinforces the student's understanding of the flexibility of the solid modeling tool as it can be applied in the real world of product development collaboration.

Course Name : NX Mill Manufacturing

Course Duration : 4 days

Course Objective : NX Mill Manufacturing process, as the core manufacturing class, is designed to embark the student on the path of manufacturing productivity. This course is designed to meet the student's expectation to transfer classroom instruction to productivity on the job. This course is a necessity

The NX Mill Manufacturing process course teaches the use of the manufacturing process for 2- 1/2- 3-axis milling and drilling applications. The course is taught within the context of an NC/CNC programming session and emphasizes the use of manufacturing process methods for improved machining efficiency.

Who Should Attend : Manufacturing engineers, process planners, CAD/CAM managers, system managers, NC/CNC programmer & All other individuals who interested in learning the fundamentals of tool path generation with NX products.

Prerequisites : Completion of NX Hybrid Modeling course

Course Name : NX Drafting

Course Duration : 2 days

Course Objective : NX Drafting is designed to teach students the proper use of drafting tools. Productivity is a key in every aspect of the NX software implementation. Included in numerous implementation processes is the requirement to produce high-quality detail drawings that capture and convey design intent graphically "on paper". Product model detailing skills further the goal of overall productivity, as part of the engineering and product development process. Students who complete the Drafting Essentials course will be prepared to return to their product development duties with the additional skills that speed and automate the detailing process in NX Software  

Who Should Attend : Engineers, Designers, CAD/CAM Managers, Drafters, Machinists & all other individuals who have a need to produce engineering drawing.

Prerequisites : Completion of NX Hybrid Modeling or NX Assembly course

Course Name : NX Assembly

Course Duration : 2 days

Course Objective : NX Assemblies is an integrated NX application that facilitates the construction of assemblies of parts, the modeling of individual parts within the context of the assembly, and the production of parts lists for assembly drawings. You can create links from the assembly to its components to simplify the incorporation of changes across the various levels of product definition. One advantage to using assemblies is that a design change to one part file can be reflected in all assemblies that use the part.

Who Should Attend : Engineers, Designers, CAD/CAM Managers, Drafters, Machinists & All other individuals who have a need to assemble the products during product development state.

Prerequisites : Completion of NX Hybrid Modeling or NX Drafting course

Course Name : NX Shape Studio

Course Duration : 2 days

Course Objective : NX Shape Studio, provides the student with the knowledge and skills to define styling shapes using complex curves and surfaces. Upon completion of this course, the student will possess the skills required to create high-curvature, complex surfaces with tangent and/or curvature continuity and create blends and transition surfaces. The student will also learn to dynamically edit and analyze surfaces and showcase products by application of advanced visualization techniques.

Who Should Attend : Industrial designers/stylists

Course Name : NX Sheet Metal

Course Duration : 3 days

Course Objective : NX Sheet Metal Design course will take your current modeling experience to the next level with the design of sheet metal parts. This course will help in the design of manufacturable sheet metal parts by emphasizing proper modeling techniques. This course will cover a broad range of sheet metal features as well as interoperability between other common modeling features and functions to aid in the design and preparation of your parts for manufacturing.

Who Should Attend : All users who have a need to design, inspect and/or manufacture sheet metal parts.

Prerequisites : Completion of NX Hybrid Modeling

Course Name : NX Mold Wizard

Course Duration : 4 days

Course Objective : NX Mold Wizard will focus experienced NX users on compelling solutions that dramatically reduce lead-time in mold design process via Mold Wizard automation, increasing their productivity. Students produce several associative two-part molds from suitably prepared solid models. The curriculum flows through familiar tasks used in mold construction. Each new skill is reinforced by ample opportunity to practice. Additionally, students gain a high level view of underlying functionality. UG Mold Wizard Design Process is the impetus needed to thrust mold designers into a successful competitive position.

Who Should Attend : Mold Designers, mold makers & all other individuals who need to designs plastic injection molds using solid models.

Prerequisites : Completion of NX Hybrid Modeling, NX Drafting, NX Assembly courses & Plastic mold design knowledge.

User Level : Advanced

 

 

Course Name : NX Progressive Die Wizard

Course Duration : 3 days

Course Objective : NX Progressive Die Wizard course accelerates NX designers of straight break and free form progressive die tooling to dramatically reduced lead-times. Progressive Die Wizard focuses on process planning, tooling layout, and die assembly construction. The designer will learn and practice solutions to support progressive die construction.

Who Should Attend : Progressive die designers & product design engineers who create progressive die tooling.

Prerequisites : Completion of NX Hybrid Modeling, NX Drafting, NX Assembly , NX Sheet Metal & Progressive Die Design Knowledge..

User Level : Advanced
